Ensimmäinen viikko kuluvaa vuotta alkaa olemaan lopuillaan ja päivät sen kuin pitenee. Ihania aurinkoisia päiviä on ollut, mutta tosi kylmää.

Talolla aletaan saamaan kohta kunnolla näkyvää aikaiseksi kunhan rappari on tehnyt hommansa. Rappari kävi viikolla katsomassa paikat ja heidän pitäisi aloitella hommat huomenna, tai näin minulle on ainakin kerrottu. Suurimpaan osaan asuinkerrosten katoista tulee ruiskurappaus ja he nauhoittavat myös joitakin seiniä, esim olohuoneessa ja porraskuilussa.
Rappauksen jälkeen pääsee vetämään lopullisen maalipinnan ja sen jälkeen lattian. Alakerrassa on tosin vielä pohjamaalattavaa./

The first week of 2010 is almost over. It's been nice and sunny but very cold.

Pretty soon we are going to have very visible progress at the property. The plasterer is going to start his work tomorrow or that's what I was told. He's going to spray plaster most of the ceilings. He will also do the rest of the drywall seams (walls) at the livingroom and stair well. When he's finished we can paint the upstairs walls and install laminate flooring. Some of the downstair walls needs to be base coated before they can be finished.
